Welcome to Carpenter Elementary! We are so pleased you and your family are a part of our school community which includes the Carpenter Elementary Parent Teacher Council (PTC). The PTC is non-profit organization and it is run by volunteers - just like you! Below you will find some helpful information about the PTC.
Our Mission
- To promote the care and protection of the children
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the child
Our Objectives
- To support our children in the classroom and provide them with the right tools to succeed
- To bring families together through PTC funded activities throughout the school year
- To support and recognize our staff in their mission to teach and encourage our children to be their best
Examples of PTC Activities
- Supports teachers and staff with classroom supplies for students
- Subsidizes school assemblies
- Provides funding for bus transportation for class field trips
- Promotes free or low-cost family activities throughout the year
How to Support the PTC
- Join us for a meeting!
- Join a committee or chair an event
- Volunteer/donate: we often put out school-wide requests for volunteer time or donations
- Participate in easy to use fundraisers on items you already purchase: Kroger Plus cards and Box Tops
